Who We Are
Abelara LLC ("we"), a Nevada limited liability company, operates abelara.com. Contact us at sales@abelara.com.
What We Collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, and message, plus the campaign tags and Google Ads click ID from the link (or from Google's advertising cookie) if you reached the page from one of our ads. We do not send the click ID if you have turned off marketing cookies or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We store it with your enquiry in our CRM (Zoho).
- LinkedIn lead forms: if you submit a form in one of our LinkedIn ads, LinkedIn shares the details you submit with us (such as your name, email address, company, job title, and answers). We use them to send what you requested and to follow up about our services.
- Usage data: when your browser requests a page, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records the request for us: the page, the site that sent you, the campaign tags in the link, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city and region). We use your IP address to look up the organization that owns your network, such as your employer or internet provider. If you are in the United States, we also store your IP address and, unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the Google Ads click ID from the link. Analytics and marketing cookies collect more, but only if you allow them. With analytics on, our own site script also records how you use each page (clicks, scrolling, time on page, form starts, downloads, errors and page speed), linked by a random ID stored in your browser. It never records what you type or copy.
- Journey data: with your analytics consent, your browser keeps a record of how you use this site (the pages you view and when, the files you download, and how you arrived) along with your time zone and device type. It stays on your device. If you send the contact form, it is included with your message.
We use this to respond to you, run and secure the site, understand how it is used, suggest relevant pages, and measure our advertising, including which ads lead to enquiries and business.
Cookies
Essential cookies are always on. Outside the United States, analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you allow them. In the United States they are on by default, except that marketing cookies stay off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can change your choice at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer. Journey data follows your analytics choice, and turning analytics off deletes it from your browser.
With your consent, Google, Meta, and LinkedIn may collect information about your activity across websites over time. There is no agreed standard for browser Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them; we honor Global Privacy Control instead.
Who We Share It With
- Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting), Google Cloud (data storage and analysis), Formspree (contact form), Zoho (CRM), and our email provider.
- With your analytics consent: Google Analytics.
- With your marketing consent: Google (Google Ads), Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Authorities, when required by law.
- A buyer or successor, if Abelara is merged, sold, or reorganized.
We do not sell personal information for money. Under California law, allowing marketing cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing." To opt out, choose Essential Only or turn off Marketing in Cookie Settings. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, marketing cookies stay off.
We are a US company, so if you visit or contact us from outside the United States, your information is sent to and processed in the United States. Where our providers move data out of the EEA or UK, they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep contact messages and lead form submissions as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. We keep page request records indefinitely. After 14 months, we replace the IP address in each record with a coded value that lets us recognize repeat visits from the same network without keeping the address. Journey data is deleted from your browser 30 days after your last visit, or as soon as you turn analytics off. Advertising partners retain data under their own policies.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing sales@abelara.com. You may also opt out of targeted advertising at any time as described above. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also object to or restrict processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. We rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies and on our legitimate interests to respond to inquiries and to run and secure the site. We do not use automated decision-making.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
